Echuca Holiday Park had the pleasure of supporting the Australian Youth Against Cancer (AYAC) organisation in December 2010. Managers Dean and Lawree Scott offered accommodation to youth cancer survivor, Chris Boyd and

his support crew who were set to kayak the length of the iconic Murray River. The Murray River Appeal was held to generate awareness of cancer in young adults and to raise money for national cancer research at Lifehouse (The Chris O’Brien Cancer Centre).

Chris, along with his friend Ian Bacon and a busload of support team members, embarked on 15 December 2010 and arrived at the Murray Mouth on 7 February 2011.

If you would like to make a donation to AYAC please visit their website www.ayac.com.au and help support a great cause. Every dollar raised by AYAC through this appeal will be handed over to Lifehouse at RPA (The Chris O’Brien Cancer Centre).

Your donation will make a big difference towards helping treat the incidence of cancer in young Australians.
